Donations to Temple Shir Shalom  

Currently We have the following funds (minimum donation is $5 other than the Prayerbook fund which is $25):

 

General Fund: Goes toward the day to day operation of the Temple.

Permanent Home Fund: Supports efforts to purchase land and build our first building.

Cantorial Leader Discretionary Fund: used by Beth Schafer for tzedaka, programming, resources, travel at Beth's discretion.

Education Fund: supports religious school and other educational programming

Worship Fund: Purchases items to beautify or enhance worship.

Prayerbook Fund: purchases prayerbooks for the congregation (bookplate will be inscribed in honor or in memory of someone) Minimum donation is $25.

Camp Scholarship Fund: Helps subsidize our kids who want to attend URJ Camp Coleman.

Social Action Fund: Helps in programming social action events.

Youth Group Fund: Helps purchase resources and subsidize convention costs for NFTY events.

Other Ways to Support TSS  

Become a Sustaining Member.Sustaining membership helps support the work of the temple by supplementing dues of those members who are on concessions due to financial hardship. It allows the temple to continue to function within budget without the need to further raise dues of the temple community at large.
